Role snapshot

- Where: Gardner Denver – 305 North State Fair Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301

- When: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

- What: Assemble rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, straight lobe blowers, and re-manufacture returns using BOMs, blueprints, and visual work instructions.

What you'll do

- Follow detailed procedures to build compressors, blowers, and associated equipment to spec.

- Verify quality at each step—inspect parts, confirm tolerances, and test completed assemblies.

- Support standardized build processes and contribute to the re-manufacture of returned units.

- Apply mechanical aptitude, shop math, and metric/imperial conversions to achieve precise outcomes.

- Work safely and cooperatively within a high-performing team environment.

What makes you a great fit

- High school diploma or GED (preferred).

- Strong mechanical aptitude; comfort reading blueprints and using tools.

- Experience with shop math and measurements (preferred).

- Clear communicator and dependable teammate.
