About Us

Ingersoll Rand is a global industrial company that provides mission-critical flow creation and industrial solutions, including compressed air systems, pumps, vacuum technologies, and other innovative equipment used across a wide range of industries. The company is known for its customer-focused approach, operational excellence, and commitment to delivering sustainable and energy-efficient solutions

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ingersoll Rand Engineered-To-Order (ETO) Marketing team. We are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to take full ownership of the marketing agenda for three of our leading brands — Nash (liquid ring vacuum pumps, compressors and engineered packages), Garo (liquid ring vacuum pumps and gas compressors) and Transvac (ejectors and jet pumps) — within the EMEIA Process Flow Technologies Division (PFT). The role is accountable for defining and delivering the integrated marketing strategy and annual plan for each brand, and for full ownership of the marketing budget across the three brands — deciding where investment delivers the greatest return and defending those choices with data.

This is a portfolio role rather than a single-brand role. The three brands sit at different stages of maturity, serve overlapping but distinct end markets (oil and gas, chemical, power generation, clean energy, pulp and paper) and carry different levels of digital presence; Transvac joined Ingersoll Rand in November 2025 and requires continued brand and digital integration alongside commercial growth. The successful candidate will be comfortable setting priorities across competing demands and working without a detailed brief. They will deliver and report results in line with business expectations in close partnership with Sales, Product Management and the wider PFT Demand Generation team, acting as the marketing voice in commercial discussions with regional sales leadership.

Responsibilities

- Own the annual marketing plan and budget for Nash, Garo and Transvac — building the plan from business growth targets, allocating spend across brands and channels, and managing to forecast through the year.

- Set and deliver the integrated demand generation strategy across paid media, email, content, SEO and events, and own the funnel with Sales — agreeing lead handover service levels, monitoring MQL to SQL to opportunity conversion, and driving corrective action where the funnel underperforms.

- Own the brand websites — content, structure, SEO performance and visibility in AI-driven search — working with the central digital team and CMS platform to keep each site commercially effective.

- Lead go-to-market for new products and applications, partnering with Product Management on positioning, value propositions, messaging and sales tools, informed by a working understanding of the competitive landscape.

- Drive account-based marketing programmes together with the Campaign Manager for priority accounts in collaboration with Sales, including target account selection, personalised content journeys and joint follow-up cadence.

- Define and deliver the events and trade show strategy for the three brands, from selection and budget through to stand concept, content, lead capture and post-event ROI reporting.

- Commission and direct high-value marketing assets — video, photography, case studies, technical content, brochures and digital creative — and select, brief and manage the agencies and vendors that produce them, including commercial terms and performance.

- Own marketing data and reporting — govern the database for segmentation, quality and compliance across multiple languages and countries, and report performance to leadership quarterly using dashboards that show what is working, what is not, and what will change as a result.

- Continue the brand and digital integration of Transvac into the Ingersoll Rand framework, protecting existing brand equity and customer relationships while aligning to group standards.

- Act as a senior member of the ETO marketing team — coaching junior colleagues, sharing best practice across brands, and contributing to the wider PFT EMEIA marketing strategy.

Basic Qualifications

- 5–8 years of B2B marketing experience, with a track record of owning a plan and budget and being measured on commercial outcomes.

- Experience in industrial, manufacturing or capital equipment markets — engineered-to-order or long sales cycle environments strongly preferred.

- Demonstrable strength in digital and demand generation, including SEO, SEA, LinkedIn advertising, marketing automation and CRM-based funnel management.

- Proven ability to manage multiple brands, product lines or business units in parallel, setting priorities and making trade-offs between them.

- Ability to translate technical products into clear customer value, working credibly with engineers, product managers and sales specialists.

- Commercial and analytical literacy combined with strong project management — comfortable building a business case, interrogating campaign data, and delivering multiple concurrent initiatives on time and on budget.

- Experience selecting and managing agencies and vendors, and the ability to influence without direct authority across sales, product and regional teams in a matrixed international organisation.

- Fluent English; German is a major asset. Willingness to travel within EMEIA for customer and site visits, events and team meetings.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with Eloqua, Salesforce, Workfront and Qlik, and with a headless or enterprise CMS such as Contentstack.

- Experience with ABM and sales engagement platforms (for example Folloze, ZoomInfo, Salesloft), and strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and conversion rate optimisation.

- Domain knowledge of vacuum, blower, compressor or ejector technology, or of end markets such as hydrogen, CCUS, biogas, refining or pulp and paper.

- Experience integrating an acquired brand into a larger corporate structure.

- Previous line management or mentoring experience, and basic design capability in tools such as Canva or the Adobe suite.

- Excellent prioritisation — willing to say no and explain why.

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, credible in front of senior stakeholders and customers.
