You'll audit what exists, build a fast, practical quality roadmap, and stand up AI-driven test automation. High ownership from day one.
What You'll Do
- Audit current test coverage (unit, integration, API, UI, regression) and flag the highest-risk gaps.
- Build a phased roadmap: quick wins in week 2, solid regression + CI/CD gates by month 1, self-maintaining automation by month 3.
- Use AI agents to turn requirements and manual test cases into real Playwright/Cypress scripts.
- Build self-healing automation that adapts to UI changes without manual fixes.
- Set up guardrails to catch hallucinations and non-deterministic bugs in AI-generated code.
- Hire, mentor, and lead a QA team skilled in agentic and AI-assisted testing.
What You Bring
- 10+ years in QA automation, SDET, or test architecture, including team leadership.
- Expert in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Real, hands-on experience using LLMs (Claude, GPT-4, etc.) to generate or automate tests — not just theory.
- Comfortable working with AWS-based CI/CD pipelines or similar.
- Strong English communication for a remote, distributed team.
