We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Mid-Level Analyst to standardize and optimize operations across our hypermarket chain. You will document store and supply chain workflows, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to minimize shrinkage and maximize efficiency. This role bridges the gap between field operations, logistics, and corporate governance.
Core Responsibilities
SOP Design & Standardisation
- Map front-end and back-end store workflows (e.g., POS checkout, inventory receiving, shelf-replenishment, cold chain management).
- Write clear, visual Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for store floor staff and warehouse teams.
- Audit store compliance against established SOPs and update documents based on feedback.
KPI & Performance Tracking
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for store managers and regional heads.
- Track critical retail metrics including sales per square foot, inventory turnover, and checkout wait times.
- Analyse performance data to identify bottlenecks and low-performing categories.
KRI & Risk Mitigation
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators to proactively flag issues like stock shrinkage, stockouts, and near-expiry fresh food inventory.
- Track Point of Sale (POS) billing discrepancies and cash till shortages.
- Formulate risk escalation protocols for store management teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a business or process analyst, ideally within retail, FMCG, or e-commerce logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio/Lucidchart) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
- Retail Knowledge: Solid understanding of hypermarket inventory management, stock ledger auditing, and loss prevention concepts.
