Position overview: We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design and develop enterprise grade backend solutions using C# and .NET. You will contribute to scalable microservices, distributed systems, cloud native services, and cross functional engineering collaboration.

- Responsibilities: Design and develop enterprise grade backend services using C# and .NET, .NET Core

Design and implement scalable microservices within service oriented platforms

Develop services supporting multi source data aggregation, policy and rules enforcement, and extensible functional domains

Apply microservice architecture principles including API First Design, Domain Driven Design, and bounded contexts

Design and implement synchronous REST based integrations with internal and external systems

Develop and support asynchronous and event driven integration patterns
-
Design efficient data models using relational SQL and NoSQL databases

Optimize database performance and manage data consistency across distributed systems

Build resilient, scalable, and maintainable cloud native solutions using Microsoft Azure

Implement appropriate resiliency, fault tolerance, configuration management, and distributed system patterns

Collaborate with Architects, Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other Developers throughout the delivery lifecycle

Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards

Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability

Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues

Work effectively with globally distributed teams and participate in coordinated meetings across time zones when required
- 6+ years of backend software development experience with strong hands on expertise in C# and .NET, .NET Core

Strong experience designing and developing enterprise grade microservices

Strong understanding of microservice architecture patterns including API First Design, Domain Driven Design, and bounded contexts

Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and implementing synchronous system integrations

Experience working with asynchronous and event driven architectures

Strong hands on experience with relational SQL databases and NoSQL databases

Experience with data modelling, database performance optimization, and data consistency within distributed systems

Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure native services

Strong understanding of cloud configuration management, resiliency patterns, scalability, and distributed system design

Experience designing maintainable, highly available, and scalable backend solutions

Strong understanding of software engineering principles, coding standards, and unit testing

Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into effective backend solutions

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to communicate clearly in English and collaborate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders

Experience working with geographically distributed development teams
- Nice to have: Experience in the travel technology domain

Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems
