Occupational Therapist – Grade 2

Permanent part-time or full-time opportunity (32 to 40 hours per week)

About the role

Join our friendly and highly supportive GEM team at Wantirna Health as an Occupational Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. This varied role offers the opportunity to provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention, support complex discharge planning, and contribute to clinical decision-making within a dynamic healthcare environment. Working alongside a collaborative allied health team, you will also mentor and supervise staff and students while helping to deliver exceptional patient care.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Demonstrated clinical experience in subacute occupational therapy.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A strong commitment to high quality, values-based care.

Strong commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and client centered practice.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
