* This a permanent, full-time position with hours from 5am to 1:30pm from Tuesday to Saturday.*
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations including unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse organization. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks. The Warehouse Associate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of products in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment to meet customer specifications
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and ensuring proper storage procedures
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as required
- Support receiving processes when necessary, unloading trucks
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse machinery
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and inventory control practices
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with construction or manufacturing equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Previous experience with order picking, packaging, load & unload activities is desirable
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and safety standards
