Responsibilities
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs efficiently and accurately
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate lubricants and filters, ensuring proper procedures are followed
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues related to tires, brakes, suspension, and fluid levels
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks
- Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Support the sales team by providing knowledgeable input on recommended services and products
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tires, and basic maintenance procedures
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods as required by tire installation or vehicle maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes is a plus but not mandatory
- High school diploma or equivalent; ongoing training or certification in automotive technology is advantageous
