The mission
Join a high-accountability team that takes raw castings and transforms them into reliable blowers and compressors. Your impact will be measured in parts meeting spec the first time, rotating assemblies that run smoothly, and builds that leave our plant ready for tough environments.
How you’ll contribute
- Set up and run grinding operations to achieve ±0.0002 in on OD diameters
- Balance rotating assemblies (static and dynamic) to target values
- Assemble per customer requirements and blueprints; follow torque specs precisely
- Capture measurements and verify critical features
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and walk-behind lifts safely and routinely
- Read CNC code, make offsets, and perform minor edits informed by machine behavior
- Spot defects, mitigate unsafe conditions, and maintain an orderly work area
- Adapt as priorities shift; work effectively with limited supervision
Your background
- At least 2 years of machining experience (CNC preferred; strong manual background considered)
- Demonstrated ability to hold ±0.0002 in on ground features
- Strong blueprint reading capability
- Experience adjusting CNC offsets and understanding program structure
- Comfort with precision measurement tools: OD micrometers, snap gauges, height gauges, and more
- Mechanical aptitude; able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Crane and walk-behind lift operation experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
