About the Role
This is a founding-stage, hands-on role sitting at the core of a Berlin-based healthtech startup, working directly with the founders to ship ideas fast and replace manual operations with automated, measurable systems. The work spans technical tooling, clinical logistics, and customer experience in a regulated health context, and it matters because you will help build the repeatable infrastructure that improves member health outcomes at scale. The engagement runs 3 to 6 months with potential conversion to a full-time position based on fit.
What You'll Do
-
Work side-by-side with the founders in a low-bureaucracy environment to move ideas from concept to production quickly.
-
Automate and eliminate manual operations work using AI agents, code, and clean processes rather than managing tasks by hand.
-
Own customer onboarding and technical setup to move members efficiently through the funnel.
-
Run day-to-day operations including acquiring blood testing locations and coordinating with partner labs.
-
Recruit, onboard, and schedule mobile nurses and field staff.
-
Manage customer support and concierge workflows, handling member requests and personalised action plans.
-
Oversee sample flow, shipping, and logistics escalations such as driver no-shows and lab changes.
-
Build internal tools and automations using n8n, Retool, Lovable, Zapier, and LLM APIs.
-
Track operational KPIs with SQL (cycle times, error rates, stockouts) and turn ad hoc processes into measurable systems.
-
Surface member feedback and usage patterns to the product and sales teams through structured pipelines.
What We're Looking For
-
Ownership-driven, bias-to-action mindset with a structured, hands-on approach to problem solving.
-
Comfortable with a 3 to 6 month founding-stage engagement and potential full-time conversion.
-
Basic SQL skills and comfort integrating APIs and building internal tools with platforms such as n8n, Retool, or Lovable.
-
AI-native daily workflow using tools like Claude, GPT, or Cursor, with an automations-first mindset.
-
Strong written and spoken proficiency in both German and English.
-
Background or current study in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
-
Evidence of personal projects, prototypes, or open-source contributions (e.g. GitHub work).
-
Experience or genuine interest in healthtech, diagnostics, or regulated environments is a plus.
-
0 to 6 years of experience; early-career candidates with strong technical fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
