About the Role

This is the founding in-house SEO role at a fast-growing AI-powered business communication platform targeting SMEs across the DACH region and beyond. You will own the full SEO function end-to-end, shaping visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven results, and directly influencing international growth.

What You'll Do

Own SEO strategy and execution across all markets, starting with DACH and expanding internationally.

Define how pages are built and structured, collaborating closely with website and engineering teams on technical SEO.

Lead keyword research and determine the approach for both traditional search and AI-generated results.

Commission or write content as needed to achieve top rankings.

Manage a monthly SEO budget of €20,000 to €30,000 with full ownership.

Work with external agencies where beneficial while retaining strategic ownership.

What We're Looking For

Proven track record building SEO at significant scale, with SEO as a dedicated full-time role and measurable results to show for it.

International SEO expertise, including a strong understanding of how to approach markets beyond your home region.

Fluency in both English and German (required).

Technical SEO experience defining page structure and working directly with website and engineering teams.

Hands-on experience with website platforms such as Webflow or similar tools.

Experience managing meaningful SEO budgets at a comparable scale.

Strong copywriting skills, the ability to write well is a genuine differentiator for this role.

Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: €65,000 to €100,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

On-site in Vienna, Austria.
