Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Assisted Living Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our senior living community. This pivotal role combines management expertise with a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, resident care, and team leadership. As the Licensed Assisted Living Director, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional care, compliance with state and federal policies, and the creation of a warm, welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to provide personalized, respectful, and high-quality services that promote independence and dignity for all residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operation of the assisted living community, ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations and health policy standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, including those requiring specialized Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
- Supervise and support care staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and professional team.
- Oversee medication administration procedures to ensure safety and adherence to healthcare protocols.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, financial management, and healthcare financial planning to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure resident rights are upheld by fostering a respectful environment that emphasizes dignity, autonomy, and personalized care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office tools for reports, care plans, incident logs, and regulatory compliance records.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, community agencies, and families to deliver comprehensive support services tailored to residents’ needs.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an Assisted Living Director or equivalent healthcare management certification.
- Proven experience in nursing home administration or assisted living facility management with a strong background in long-term care operations.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies, and resident’s rights legislation.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams within senior or residential care settings.
- Familiarity with health regulation policies related to assisted living facilities and long-term care regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to motivate staff and engage residents’ families effectively.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care environments is highly desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
