Duties
- Receive, unload, and load shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners to ensure safe handling of goods.
- Perform accurate picking and packing of customer orders using order picker tools and inventory management software to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain precise inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platforms like AS400 or similar systems.
- Organize stock in designated storage areas, ensuring proper stocking techniques and adherence to trade compliance and international trade regulations.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch by packaging products securely, verifying order accuracy, and coordinating shipping logistics for domestic and international deliveries.
- Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to uphold inventory accuracy; identify discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by assisting with load & unload operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries related to order status, shipment tracking, or inventory availability.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or logistics setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, stocking, and packaging processes.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling tools safely.
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Competence in data entry and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail; able to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
