SimpliInsure.com is a digital insurance platform focused on helping customers compare, purchase, renew, and manage health, motor, and life insurance products online.
SipFund is a digital mutual fund investment platform supporting SIP investments, folio management, customer onboarding, investment transactions, reporting, and digital customer engagement through web, mobile, and chatbot-based platforms.
We are building and scaling multiple technology products, including web applications, backend platforms, Android/iOS mobile applications, third-party API integrations, insurer integrations, payment systems, customer portals, chatbots, AI-powered advisory solutions, and financial services platforms.
We are looking for talented and hands-on Software Developers / Senior Developers who can join our technology team and contribute to one or more of our product modules based on their technical strengths and experience.

We are looking for developers who can take ownership of their assigned modules, write clean and maintainable code, understand business requirements, work with APIs and databases, test their own work, and collaborate closely with the Tech Lead, QA Tester, Business Analyst, and other developers.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications, backend services, frontend interfaces, and/or mobile applications.
- Write clean, scalable, secure, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
- Build and maintain frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop and maintain Android and iOS applications using React Native or Flutter, where applicable.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Understand written user stories and translate them into technical solutions.
- Estimate development effort and complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
API & Third-Party Integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party APIs.
- Work with insurance company APIs for quotation, policy comparison, proposal submission, KYC, payments, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and related services.
- Integrate fintech and mutual fund APIs, where applicable.
- Work with payment gateway integrations such as Razorpay, BillDesk, or similar platforms.
- Integrate authentication, KYC, credit score, document, and verification APIs.
- Handle multiple APIs with different authentication methods, request/response formats, and error codes.
- Debug API errors, integration failures, premium mismatches, transaction failures, KYC issues, and payment-related issues.
- Read, understand, and independently implement API documentation.
Insurance & Financial Services Modules
Depending on the assigned product area, work on one or more of the following:
Health Insurance
- Quote generation and policy comparison.
- Premium calculation and quote normalisation.
- Proposal submission and policy issuance.
- Pre-existing Disease (PED) declaration flows.
- Policy portability functionality.
- Health insurance renewal processing.
- KYC and payment flows.
Motor Insurance
- Integration with multiple motor insurance APIs.
- KYC verification flows.
- Policy renewal and break-in/lapsed policy flows.
- Vehicle data management, including RTO and Make-Model-Variant (MMV) data.
- NCB (No Claim Bonus) logic and autofill.
- OD (Own Damage) and TP (Third Party) policy logic.
- Add-on selection and premium calculation.
- Proposal forms, proposer detail editing, payments, and policy issuance.
- Debugging insurer-specific API and premium-related issues.
Mutual Fund / Fintech
- SIP investment and management workflows.
- Folio management and transaction processing.
- Customer onboarding and consent capture.
- Mutual fund platform integrations.
- IIN activation and investment-related workflows.
- Reporting and dashboard development.
- Agency/RM login and activity tracking.
Mobile Application Development
For candidates with mobile development expertise:
- Build and maintain Android and iOS applications.
- Work with React Native or Flutter.
- Manage app permissions, safe area handling, background/foreground lifecycle, and device-specific behaviour.
- Implement push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).
- Manage Play Store and Apple App Store submissions, releases, updates, and maintenance.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across different mobile devices and operating systems.
Chatbot & AI Integrations
- Develop and maintain chatbot and conversational workflows.
- Work with WhatsApp Business API and other chatbot integrations.
- Develop multilingual chatbot workflows.
- Integrate AI and LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar platforms.
- Implement AI-powered customer advisory and support features.
- Integrate consent flows, PDF/document downloads, and customer onboarding through chatbot platforms.
Database Development
- Design and maintain database structures.
- Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
- Write efficient and optimised SQL queries.
- Perform schema design and database optimisation.
- Troubleshoot database-related performance issues.
- Support data uploads, data processing, and reporting requirements.
Code Quality, Testing & Deployment
- Follow coding standards and development best practices.
- Use Git for version control, including branching, pull requests, merging, and code reviews.
- Test your own code and functionality before handing it over to QA.
- Fix bugs and issues identified during QA and regression testing.
- Work with staging and production environments.
- Follow the Development → Staging → QA → Production deployment workflow.
- Do not push code directly to production without the required review and approval.
- Participate in regression testing and production issue resolution.
- Analyse root causes of production incidents and implement permanent fixes where required.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in daily standups.
- Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, sprint reviews, and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with the Tech Lead, Business Analyst, QA Tester, and other developers.
- Review peer code and provide constructive feedback.

- For senior candidates, experience in technical ownership, architecture, code reviews, or module leadership will be an added advantage.
