Job Summary
East Bay Deli is looking for an energetic, hands‑on Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a leader in our fast‑casual deli environment, you will oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and uphold our commitment to fresh, high‑quality food. You’ll guide and motivate team members, maintain smooth and efficient service, and help create the welcoming atmosphere East Bay Deli is known for. Duties
- Oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, ensuring consistent food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to uphold East Bay Deli standards and deliver outstanding hospitality
- Manage inventory, food cost, and waste control to support operational efficiency
- Utilize POS systems for accurate order processing, cash handling, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Create effective shift schedules that align staffing levels with business needs and peak periods
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive dining experience
- Support catering operations, large orders, and off‑site service when needed
Experience
- Proven leadership experience in a fast‑casual, quick‑service, or deli‑style restaurant environment
- Strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining high production standards
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and develop team members
- Familiarity with POS systems, including cash handling and reporting
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, culinary basics, and high‑volume production processes
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Leader, or similar role is highly preferred
- Hospitality, catering, or multi‑unit experience is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
