Overview
We are recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver for general haulage work. This role involves trunking, collections, deliveries and moving palletised freight with minimal manual handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of Class 1 vehicles
- Trunking and general haulage runs
- Curtain sider work (opening/closing curtains)
- Palletised freight deliveries
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Accurate completion of paperwork and PODs
- Following all Driver Hours and WTD regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience preferred (not essential depending on client)
- Good communication and reliability
- Ability to follow route plans and client instructions
