About Makeable
Makeable is a San Francisco based company backed by Afore Capital. We are building tools that help people turn an idea into a real physical product. Our long term goal is a simple path from an idea to a 3D model, compatible parts, clear build instructions, code, manufacturing, and sharing.
The role
This is a paid, full time, 12 week internship for a Growth and Content Intern with strong design taste. You will work directly with the founders to help more people understand, try, and share Makeable.
What you will do
Create clear, high quality content about what people can build with Makeable.
Help shape social posts, short videos, launch ideas, and creator partnerships.
Improve the website, product messaging, and onboarding using strong visual and user experience judgment.
Find and test simple growth ideas, then learn from the results.
Work with product and hardware teammates to turn real builds into stories people want to share.
What we are looking for
Strong taste in design, products, and the internet.
Examples of content, design work, communities, or projects you have grown or created.
Clear writing and communication.
A practical, self directed approach to trying ideas and learning quickly.
Interest in makers, hardware, design, or creative tools is a plus.
Location and pay
San Francisco is preferred, with a hybrid working setup. We are open to candidates who can relocate and may consider remote candidates in the United States or Singapore. Visa support may be considered. Pay is USD 19.61 to USD 20.20 per hour, based on 40 hours per week. Strong interns may be considered for a full time role after the internship, with compensation and equity discussed then.
