Site Manager – Social Housing / Kitchen Refurbishment

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a social housing kitchen refurbishment programme in Preston.
This is a six-month contract managing full-spec kitchen upgrades within occupied social housing properties. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced planned works environment, coordinating trades and subcontractors while ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of kitchen refurbishment works across social housing properties.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
- Ensure works remain on programme and meet required quality standards.
- Manage health & safety across the programme, including RAMS and site compliance.
- Work effectively within occupied/tenanted properties, minimising disruption to residents.
- Liaise with residents, client representatives and other stakeholders.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure completed works meet specification.
- Resolve site issues quickly to keep the programme moving.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Site Manager experience within social housing is essential.
- Strong background in planned refurbishment works.
- Experience delivering kitchen replacement / kitchen upgrade programmes is highly desirable.
- Experience working within occupied or tenanted properties.
- Strong subcontractor and programme management skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred.
- Able to commute to Preston for the duration of the contract.
Package
Market-rate salary/day rate, dependent on experience and employment arrangement.
6-month contract with an October start.

Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per day
