Staff AI Accelerator Security Engineer – Product Security / Root of Trust / SPDM / Redfish / PLDM
We are currently partnered with a technology organisation developing next-generation AI accelerator hardware and software platforms. They are looking to hire a Staff Security Engineer to join their security team, focusing on the security requirements, configuration, provisioning, and validation of components and software across AI accelerator cards.
The role combines security architecture and requirements development with hands-on prototyping, implementation review, automation, and validation, working closely with internal engineering teams, customers, vendors, and industry standards forums.
Key responsibilities
- Define and document security requirements for components across AI accelerator cards
- Define and document secure communication mechanisms between Board Management Controllers (BMCs) and platform-management services
- Work with Redfish, SPDM-based, and PLDM-based interactions relevant to platform security
- Define and document processes for establishing device identity, collecting measurements, generating evidence, and verifying attestation evidence
- Support Platform Root of Trust (PRoT) attestation of AI accelerator card state to management services through the BMC
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in product security or a related field
- Understanding of the security relevance of physical components within AI accelerator cards, including BMCs, Platform Roots of Trust, flash devices, and PCIe switches
- Understanding of PCIe Access Control Services (ACS)
- Understanding of key management and certificate management principles
- Understanding of device security lifecycles, root-of-trust security, boot-chain security, and firmware authentication
- Experience performing security risk assessments on systems comprising discrete components
- Experience drafting security specifications and reviewing systems against defined security requirements
