System Middleware Architect - Operating Systems / OS / System Level / Runtime / Framework Development / Android / iOS / OS Frameworks / React Native / Flutter

Working at the foundation of modern system software, the team is constructing high-performance framework infrastructure designed to power seamless interactions across smartphones, PCs, and distributed hardware ecosystems.
This senior architectural leadership role offers the opportunity to define and drive the core framework strategy for an emerging operating system.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect the unified middleware framework and define the multi-year technology roadmap for a multi-device OS platform.
- Design extensible framework solutions that seamlessly support multi-ecosystem coexistence, cross-platform execution, and system scalability.
- Resolve fundamental low-level challenges in memory allocation, runtime initialization speed, system stability, and backward compatibility.
- Establish engineering standards, architectural governance, and robust automated validation frameworks for core system components.
- Track global advancements in operating system design, runtime engines, and system software to incubate breakthrough technologies for a 2-to-3-year horizon.
- Drive cross-functional execution and lead large-scale architectural transformations across international product engineering groups.
Essential Requirements
- Deep foundational expertise in computer science or system software engineering, with strong mastery of operating system internals.
- Solid experience with Android/iOS application frameworks, preferably with hands-on design and development experience using cross-platform frameworks such as React Native (RN), Flutter, or similar technologies
- Proven background in system-level application, runtime, or framework development on major platforms (e.g., Android, iOS, Linux, or modern distributed OS architectures).
- Demonstrated track record of architecting and shipping commercial-grade middleware, system libraries, or core OS frameworks.
- Hands-on experience tackling complex performance optimization, thread scheduling, resource management, or compatibility layers.
- Strong leadership, technical negotiation, and communication skills to direct broad engineering transformations.
- Preferred: Background in cross-device synchronization, containerization, or runtime abstraction layers across heterogeneous hardware.
- Preferred: Experience balancing architectural technical debt with aggressive commercial product delivery schedules
