Our Digital & Data Transformation team combines strategy, technology, architecture, data and delivery expertise to help organisations define their direction, develop practical roadmaps and design scalable solutions that deliver lasting business outcomes.
As an Associate Director, you will help shape and grow our strategy and architecture capability while expanding your leadership, delivery and market responsibilities.
Working with senior stakeholders across government and public sector organisations, utilities and banks, you will lead multidisciplinary teams through complex technology and transformation engagements and help build new client opportunities and relationships.
Your day-to-day could include:
- Developing strategic intent, technology strategies and transformation roadmaps aligned with clients’ business priorities.
- Building compelling business cases that connect technology investment with measurable business value.
- Leading business capability modelling to help clients understand current-state gaps and define future-state requirements.
- Designing enterprise, solution, cloud and data architecture approaches that support scalable and sustainable transformation.
- Taking responsibility for the successful delivery of strategy and architecture engagements.
- Leading and coaching teams, providing clear direction and maintaining quality across engagement delivery.
- Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and establishing a strong presence in the market.
- Contributing to proposals, client conversations and the development of new or expanded engagements.
- Applying your sector experience to shape relevant solutions for government, public-sector, utilities or banking clients.
- Collaborating across PwC’s wider digital, data, transformation and industry capabilities to bring the best of the firm to each client.

- 8+ years’ experience across technology strategy and architecture, including defining strategic intent, developing transformation roadmaps, and connecting business priorities with technology choices.
- Strong consulting experience, ideally gained within a Big Four or similar environment, with exposure to government and public sector, utilities or banking clients.
- Experience developing business cases and applying business capability modelling to support clear, evidence-based transformation decisions.
- Practical capability across enterprise and solution architecture, including cloud and data architecture, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Experience leading strategy, architecture or technology transformation engagements from definition through to delivery, including team leadership, quality management and stakeholder engagement.
- Hands-on cloud experience or relevant cloud certifications with one or more of the Cloud Service Providers (Cloud Architect preferred)
- A commercial mindset, with experience contributing to proposals, developing relationships, and identifying or supporting new engagements.
- Executive-level communication skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- The ability to operate across strategy, architecture, leadership, delivery and market responsibilities rather than focusing solely on enterprise architecture, project management or sales.
