Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver interaction and UX design activities for automotive HMI solutions.
- Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces and experiences using Figma.
- Create wireframes, interaction flows and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of ADAS-related functions and user experiences.
- Conduct user testing and usability sessions to understand user needs and validate design solutions.
- Analyze user feedback and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
- Collaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is correctly implemented.
- Work within established product requirements, strategic direction and technical constraints.
- Independently drive assigned design activities from concept through delivery.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work proactively within a Lean Agile product development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer or UI Designer.
- Strong experience within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience with Automotive HMI development/design.
- Practical experience designing interfaces and experiences related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Strong proficiency in Figma for UI design, interaction design and prototyping.
- Experience with user testing, usability testing and gathering user insights.
- Ability to independently plan, execute and take ownership of design assignments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Lean Agile / Agile development environments.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams including developers, product managers and engineers.
- University degree in Interaction Design, Technical Design, Industrial Design or an equivalent discipline.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with Android Automotive systems.
- Knowledge of ADAS L2/L2++ functionality and user experience.
- Experience delivering user-centered solutions within fast-paced automotive product development environments.
- Experience working with large-scale automotive HMI platforms.
