About the job

For candidates who know how the UN system works and want to help build real digital tools for diplomacy.

About us

DiploTools builds digital tools for diplomats, foreign ministries, and international organizations. Our goal is simple: cut the bureaucracy and help diplomacy move faster.

We're looking for someone who knows international relations, especially how the UN system works, and is comfortable working with tech tools to build real products. If you like turning ideas into something people actually use, this is for you.

What you'll do

Research:

- Review and validate structured information derived from UN meetings and documents

- Compare outputs against original sources to ensure accuracy and consistency

- Help build the reference datasets that train and test analytical tools

- Test new features and flag issues before they reach diplomats

Business Development:

- Support outreach to Permanent Missions and international organizations to identify potential users and use cases

- Gather feedback from users to inform the product roadmap

- Assist with product testing and identify areas for improvement

You will work closely with a small team developing tools used in multilateral diplomacy.

What you bring

- Previous experience in a Permanent Mission, international organization, or within the UN system

- Strong understanding of how multilateral diplomacy works, particularly within the UN framework

- Attention to detail and ability to work carefully with complex information

- Comfort working with digital tools and structured datasets

- Curiosity about how technology can support diplomatic work

- Fluent in English (French is a plus)

Why this internship?

- Build tools that are actually used by diplomats every day

- Work in a small team where your ideas matter

- Be part of an ultra-dynamic environment based at Geneva's Biotech Campus

- Flexible work setup with hands-on mentorship

To apply: Send your CV and a short cover letter to [email protected] before 09.10.2026.

Duration: 3–6 months, starting November. This is an unpaid internship intended for students as part of a school program.
