Homologation Engineer:

Key Responsibilities
As a Homologation Engineer, you will:
- Prepare, compile, and submit documentation for regulatory approvals and certifications.
- Publish and maintain new and updated certificates.
- Represent the homologation function in development and product projects.
- Coordinate activities to ensure products comply with all statutory and mandatory requirements.
- Plan and coordinate certification tests and evaluations together with testing teams, technical services, and type approval authorities.
- Act as the subject matter expert for regulatory requirements, providing guidance and support to engineering and project teams.
- Monitor product changes and assess their impact on regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with EU and UN ECE automotive regulations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working in an international business environment.
Meritorious
- Experience as a Compliance Owner or similar regulatory responsibility role.
- Experience with bus homologation or multistage type approval processes.
- Experience with Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA).
- Knowledge of KOLA, VDA, VDB, CDM, and CDS systems.
- Experience in AI agent development or AI-related solutions.
