The Opportunity
We're partnering with a large, well-established national organization to hire a Senior Software Engineer with strong AWS Serverless, Python or Node.js, and Javascript/Typescript experience to help scale and modernize their cloud platform.
This role sits at the center of a fast-moving engineering team responsible for powering customer-facing applications (leasing, payments, maintenance) and internal systems. You'll design and build scalable, serverless backend services in AWS while contributing to modern React-based front-end applications.
This is a hands-on senior IC role with strong ownership across cloud architecture and application development.

What You'll Be Working On
- Design and build serverless backend services using AWS Lambda, S3, and related AWS services
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven workflows in Python
- Build and enhance modern front-end applications using React / ReactJS
- Architect scalable, secure cloud-native solutions
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in AWS environments
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Collaborate with product, QA, and cross-functional teams to ship high-quality releases
What We're Looking For
- 4-8+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, S3, API Gateway)
- Proficiency in Nodejs for backend development
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems
- Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building modern front-end applications with React / ReactJS (Nice to have)
