A leading national GC is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee a major commercial project in Gainesville, FL
Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations from mobilization through closeout
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, logistics, safety, and quality
- Coordinate closely with project management and ownership teams
- Conduct site meetings and maintain short-term schedules
- Monitor project progress and resolve field-related challenges
- Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and company standards
- Oversee inspections, punch-list activities, and project turnover
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
Qualifications
- Senior Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
- Ground-up student housing, multifamily, or large residential experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead large, complex construction projects
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and subcontractor-management skills
- Excellent field leadership and communication abilities
- Knowledge of commercial construction safety and quality standards
- Ability to work on-site in Gainesville, Florida
