Metric Geo is partnered with a well-established, nationally recognized organization in the building compliance industry seeking a Professional Engineer. This role is responsible for modular building engineering oversight, plan review management, technical guidance, and support of operations.

Primary Responsibilities
• Review construction plans for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate submitted plans for completeness and code conformity prior to formal review.
• Perform product approval validations in accordance with applicable state and industry requirements.
• Conduct reviews and approvals of alternate materials, designs, and construction methods.
• Review quality control manuals, engineering calculations, and technical reports.
• Oversee plan review reports and approval processes for technical review staff.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive professional engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with building codes, plan review, or related regulatory compliance strongly preferred.
• Certified Plans Examiner designation through the National Certification Program for Construction Code Inspectors.
