About the company
A remote-first, venture-backed company applying AI to modernize one of the largest and most heavily regulated lending markets in the US.
The platform is used by lenders to move loans through origination faster and more accurately, and the engineering team is more than doubling in size this year. \The role This is a pure IC Senior Technical PM role, not a people-management track.
You'll own a product pod end-to-end, working directly with mortgage lenders and operations teams to figure out what to build, then driving it through delivery and iteration. This is not a backlog-management job: you're expected to bring your own technical opinions, not just translate requirements. \What you'll do\
- Own a product pod end-to-end, from customer discovery through roadmap, delivery, and post-launch iteration
- Act as the technical bridge between engineering, design, and the business, turning customer needs into specs and architecture decisions
- Prototype and validate ideas hands-on using AI coding tools, so engineering starts from a working concept instead of a vague spec
- Define success metrics for every initiative and drive iteration until outcomes land
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to shape positioning and influence deal cycles for your product area
\What you must bring\
- 5–10 years in technical product management, owning B2B SaaS products end-to-end at a startup or growth-stage company
- Currently employed as a founder or product manager, with 1+ year in your current role
- Demonstrated 0-to-1 ownership: you've launched a net-new product or feature set, not just iterated on an existing backlog
- Technical fluency strong enough to prototype with AI coding tools, read a codebase, and hold your own in architecture discussions; this is not a "write the ticket" role
- Experience shipping third-party integrations
- US-based and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
\Nice to have\
- Experience in a regulated industry: fintech, lending, insurtech, or healthcare
- Background as a software engineer or forward-deployed engineer before moving into PM
- Working knowledge of LLM concepts (prompting, evals, retrieval, fine-tuning) with experience shipping AI-powered features
- Strong data fluency: comfortable pulling your own dashboards and defining success metrics
- CS, Engineering, or related technical degree
\Compensation & logistics $170K–$250K base plus competitive equity. Fully remote within the US. Two openings. Not open to any visa sponsorship; candidates must already be authorized to work in the US (citizen or Green Card holder). \This isn't the right fit if You're looking for a people-management or CPO-track role.
This is a hands-on IC position with no direct reports. A note on background: this team has consistently hired PMs who've shipped in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments, think startup or growth-stage, often with a 0-to-1 story.
If your experience is mostly at larger, established organizations, that alone won't rule you out, but be ready to speak concretely to how you've operated with startup-level pace and ambiguity.
