Senior Accounting Team Lead with English

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Team Lead to join our team in Łódź, Poland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance & Accounting, previous experience in a team leadership or coordination role, and excellent communication skills in English.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the accounting team, coordinating daily activities, monitoring performance, ensuring process compliance, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the accounting team in daily activities and process execution.
- Coordinate team workflows and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
- Monitor team performance against SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Provide onboarding, training, coaching, and development support to team members.
- Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and client representatives.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and business stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, controls, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of changes.
- Set, communicate, and monitor team targets.
- Support the adoption and implementation of new ERP systems and process-related tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Previous experience as a Team Lead, Team Coordinator, or in a similar leadership role.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new systems or ERP solutions within the team.
- Experience in an SSC/BPO environment will be an advantage.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
