About Us:
Engineering teams now run many coding agents at once, and all of that work eventually has to come together. We're building a merge queue for that world. It works out how changes across pull requests actually interact, sends agents to resolve these conflicts, and prepares each PR against the code that main is about to become. Teams keep their agents, their Git workflow, and their required checks and reviews, and we coordinate everything in between.
We're early, in stealth, and working closely with our first users and design partners. We'll share more about the company once we're in conversation.
The Role:
We need to get in front of engineering teams at AI-native companies, the ones already running several coding agents in parallel and feeling the pain of merging that work. You'll open those doors, starting in your first week.
This is a relationships-first role, not a content or community program. You won't inherit a pipeline or build a demand-generation machine. You'll be reaching out to people you already know, getting a technical founder into the room with them, and turning the good conversations into design partnerships. Community, content, and events will matter later, and you'll shape them, but we're hiring for who you can reach right now.
Our founders run the technical conversation and the close. Your job is to make sure those conversations happen with the right teams, and that pilots go well afterward.
What you'll do:
- Open doors at AI-native startups and fast-moving engineering organizations through your existing relationships, starting in week one.
- Build and qualify a target list of teams running coding agents at scale, using public signals like engineering blogs, conference talks, job postings, and the customer lists of adjacent tools.
- Run outreach that gets replies: personal, specific, and credible to engineers.
- Coordinate design-partner pilots end to end, from first call to connected repositories to real usage.
- Stay close to partners through onboarding, feed their problems back to the team quickly, and help turn early users into references.
- Represent us where these engineers gather, including AI engineering meetups, conferences, and technical communities, and help us decide which are worth our time.
- Tell us what you're learning about who has this problem most acutely, and help sharpen who we go after next.
- Over time, and as the product becomes public, shape our developer content, documentation feedback, and community presence.
What we're looking for:
- Real, current relationships with engineering leaders and senior engineers at AI-native companies and developer-tools organizations. This is the core requirement, and we'll ask you about it specifically.
- Credibility with a technical audience. You can explain what a merge queue does, why many coding agents create integration problems, and run a demo without handing off after five minutes.
- Experience in early-stage developer tools, infrastructure, or technical SaaS, whether in developer relations, go-to-market, partnerships, or as an engineer who moved into a customer-facing role.
- Comfort with unscalable work: personal outreach, sitting in a shared Slack channel with a design partner, helping someone through a rough onboarding, following up on a bug.
- Judgment about who to say no to. A few right-fit design partners are worth more to us than a hundred signups.
- Tolerance for an early product. Things will be rough, and you'll be asking people to try them anyway.
- Clear writing. Most of your first conversations will start in text.
Nice to have:
- You were an early go-to-market or developer relations hire at a developer-tools company that went from zero to its first paying customers.
- An engineering background, or hands-on experience running coding agents yourself.
- Experience running design-partner or pilot programs.
- A public presence among developers through writing, talks, open source, or community work.
- Familiarity with Git internals, CI systems, merge queues, or developer productivity tooling.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this role is starting at $150,000+ pear year. This is our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay at the time of posting. Where an offer falls in the range depends on job-related factors such as the depth and relevance of your experience and the scope you take on.
