The Role
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing pricing strategies that improve commercial performance and support business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and refining pricing segmentation strategies across products and customer groups
- Analysing portfolio performance to identify pricing opportunities, trends, and emerging risks
- Developing monitoring frameworks to assess pricing effectiveness and portfolio health
- Delivering actionable insights that improve pricing accuracy and commercial outcomes
- Supporting testing and optimisation initiatives to enhance pricing performance
- Working closely with underwriting, product, commercial, and analytics teams to influence business decisions
- Communicating complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contributing to the ongoing development of pricing and analytics capabilities across the business
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical experience within pricing, modelling, forecasting, or quantitative analysis
- Understanding of insurance pricing principles, segmentation methodologies, or similar commercial analytics functions
- Experience using analytical tools such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, or comparable technologies
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear business recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
