Claims Reporting & Operational Analytics Consultant

This is an opportunity to support a large-scale healthcare analytics programme focused on operational reporting, business intelligence, and claims performance monitoring. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions that improve visibility across claims operations, payment processes, compliance activities, and day-to-day business performance.

The Role and Deliverables
- Build and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI and SQL.
- Develop reporting solutions that provide visibility into claims operations, payment activity, turnaround times, productivity, and business performance.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate operational needs into intuitive reporting products.
- Create ad hoc analyses and recurring reporting assets to support day-to-day operational decision-making.
- Analyse claims, encounter, provider, and member data to identify trends, operational issues, and performance improvement opportunities.
- Support compliance, payment integrity, and regulatory reporting requirements through accurate and timely data delivery.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience building operational reporting and business intelligence solutions.
- Advanced Power BI dashboard development and data visualization skills.
- Strong SQL skills with experience working across large datasets.
- Experience supporting healthcare claims, provider, member, or operational reporting environments.
- Ability to work directly with business users and translate requirements into reporting solutions.
- Experience developing KPI reporting, performance dashboards, and management information packs.
- Understanding of data quality, metric definitions, and reporting governance.
- Exposure to Databricks or modern analytics platforms is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to stakeholder engagement.
