Hardware Architect (Electronics) - BW Area - Up to €120,000 (d / m / w)
Responsibilities
- Define and continuously refine the overarching system architecture for sophisticated electronic solutions
- Translate high-level system specifications into detailed technical requirements and implementable designs
- Contribute to development activities by making informed architectural decisions and designing critical hardware components
- Produce and maintain system architecture documentation, including diagrams, interface definitions, and technical descriptions
- Provide expert guidance and oversight to engineering teams involved in circuit design, PCB layout, and verification processes
- Support cost evaluations, feasibility studies, and technical decision-making from a business perspective
- Collaborate closely with project management as well as interdisciplinary teams across systems engineering, mechanical design, software, and firmware development
Desired Skills and Experience
- Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar
- 7+ years of professional experience in Electronic Hardware development (Analog & Digital)
- Additional experience in system and/or platform architecture
- Experience in RF/HF technologies is highly valuable
- Fluency in German & English is mandatory
- Candidates must be clear of any government, defense, or security-related employment restrictions
