Hardware Designer – Digital/Analog & High-Speed PCB
Join a team developing cutting-edge electronics for advanced aerospace and high-reliability applications. We're looking for an experienced Hardware Designer to lead the design of complex digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit boards, from concept and schematic design through testing, validation, and production support.
In this role, you'll work on high-speed, multi-layer PCB designs incorporating processors, FPGAs, DDR memory, PCIe, Ethernet, and SerDes interfaces. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, layout, and production teams to deliver robust, reliable hardware for demanding environments.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hardware and PCB design experience
- Strong digital, analog, and mixed-signal design expertise
- Experience designing multi-layer, high-speed PCBs
- Knowledge of DDR3/4/5, PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, USB, LVDS, and similar interfaces
- Experience with schematic capture, component selection, signal integrity, and board-level testing
- Familiarity with FPGA-based systems and high-speed design practices
- Experience using Mentor Expedition or similar PCB design tools
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Hardware Engineering, or a related field
Nice To Have
- Aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or other high-reliability industry experience
- RF/high-frequency design knowledge
- LTSpice, signal integrity simulation, and board analysis experience
- Understanding of ruggedized or space-qualified electronics

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, BC.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
