Job Title: Regulatory Specialist IIJob Description
As a Regulatory Specialist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and efficiency in regulatory processes. This position involves preparing regulatory documents, managing data, conducting research, and supporting internal and external communications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare standard to advanced regulatory documents and complete detailed customer questionnaires.
- Answer technical product inquiries in a timely manner.
- Support the collection, organization, and review of raw material supplier documentation while ensuring data is accurately entered into applicable systems.
- Research various domestic and international regulatory topics to stay ahead of industry shifts and emerging market trends.
- Ensure internal compliance and determine potential impacts on organizational processes.
- Contribute to the evolution of internal regulatory programs to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Specialize in a minimum of one regulatory topic and work in the area with little to no assistance.
- Aid in the development and training of others within the organization.
- Assist with on-site audits and internal programs for facility certifications including Kosher, Halal, Organic, and Fairtrade.
- Support the development of new products and new supplier qualifications.
- Maintain professional, courteous communication with both internal teams and external customers.
- Participate in the organoleptic evaluation program.
- Execute additional duties and departmental projects as needed.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in regulatory (food or flavors industry only).
- Familiarity with various US Code of Federal regulations, including Titles 21 and 7.
- Knowledge of non-governmental agency rules such as Kosher and Halal.
- Experience with audits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI).
- Experience with Product Vision, TraceGains, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Intelligent Authoring is highly preferred.
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site, working within a team of 7 regulatory members. The work environment is collaborative and dynamic, focusing on innovation and regulatory compliance.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $87500.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
