AI Engineer For E2E Advanced Driving

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a multinational Telecommunications & SW R&D company, based in Munich, who are looking for a talented AI Engineer For E2E Advanced Driving to join their team.

In this role you will work on next-generation automated driving safety, addressing complex challenges around emerging technologies such as E2E, VLA, and world models. You'll define safety concepts, architectures, validation strategies, and risk management approaches for L2–L4 systems. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants real technical ownership and to work on the future of automated driving at a global R&D organization.

Responsibilities as AI Engineer For E2E Advanced Driving:

- Have an innovation driven mindset to explore AI solutions leading to safer advanced driving systems, challenging and trailblazing the state-of-the-art.

- Investigate and develop risk assessment algorithms using AI for Advanced Driving system.

- Extend and modify state-of-the-art end-to-end Advanced Driving model to handle safety related challenges in advanced driving systems.

- Stay up-to-date with newest AI technologies, industry standards, regulations, trends and new best practices.

Requirements:

- MSc or PhD. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning or equivalent field.

- Ideally 3+ years of work experience with end-to-end models.

- Excellent understanding of AI-based solution, neural network architectures, hardware and software platforms for Advanced Driving systems, nominal performance evaluation and improvement.

- Practical experience in applying AI-based solution to solve safety related problem in Advanced Driving system.

- Hands-on attitude and positive engagement to inspire and motivate teammates.

- Professional proficiency in English. German knowledge are an advantage.

- Willing to travel abroad (up to 25% of the time).
