About the Role
An experienced HR Business Partner is sought to support a fast-growing residential construction and exterior remodeling organization. The role partners closely with field and corporate leaders to align people strategy with business objectives, while supporting workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
This position is well suited to an HR professional who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on, using workforce data and business insights to strengthen organizational performance, employee development, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with field and corporate leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Support workforce planning, organizational development, and talent requirements across growing construction operations.
- Lead and support recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives to meet workforce needs.
- Advise managers on performance management, employee relations, coaching, and employee development.
- Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and processes in line with company standards and employment regulations.
- Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, performance issues, and appropriate resolution strategies.
- Use HR data, workforce metrics, and analytics to identify trends and support informed business decisions.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen employee engagement, accountability, retention, and performance.
- Support organizational change, workforce development, and people-related initiatives as the business scales.
- Provide guidance to managers on HR practices, policies, compliance, and people management.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and strengthen the employee experience.
- Promote a workplace culture focused on accountability, integrity, high performance, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, People Partner, or similar strategic HR role.
- Experience partnering with business leaders and translating organizational goals into practical people strategies.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, and HR policy implementation.
- Experience supporting fast-growing or multi-site organizations, ideally within construction, field operations, remodeling, manufacturing, or another operational environment.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment practices.
- Experience using HR metrics and workforce data to support decision-making.
- Strong coaching and advisory skills with the ability to influence leaders and managers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic HR planning with hands-on operational execution.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
