Director of Marketing

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a B2C Director of Marketing to join their client's growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketing leader who enjoys driving brand visibility, customer acquisition, and business growth while remaining actively involved in day-to-day marketing execution.

This individual will lead the organization's marketing function, owning both strategy and execution across multiple channels. The Director of Marketing will partner closely with executive leadership to develop and execute marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop an existing Marketing Manager while maintaining a hands-on approach to campaign execution, content development, digital marketing, and performance analysis.

The ideal candidate is a player-coach who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. They will be responsible for marketing strategy, budget management, performance analytics, demand generation, and supporting growth initiatives across multiple markets. This role is well suited for a marketing leader who enjoys owning the full marketing function and directly connecting marketing efforts to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals, growth initiatives, and customer acquisition objectives

- Own annual and quarterly marketing planning while overseeing day-to-day campaign execution

- Lead, mentor, and develop a Marketing Manager while helping scale the organization's marketing capabilities

- Own and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize performance and ROI

- Create compelling messaging and positioning that supports brand awareness, differentiation, and customer engagement

- Serve as a steward of brand standards and maintain consistency across all marketing channels and materials

- Partner with executive leadership to support thought leadership, executive visibility, and content initiatives

- Develop and execute content marketing initiatives including website content, blogs, email campaigns, social media content, case studies, and marketing collateral

- Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion initiatives across digital and traditional marketing channels

- Support referral marketing and customer engagement initiatives that contribute to business growth

- Oversee website strategy, content updates, user experience improvements, and ongoing optimization efforts

- Support multi-location growth initiatives through targeted and localized marketing programs

- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop sales enablement materials and marketing resources

- Utilize CRM and marketing automation platforms, including HubSpot, to support campaign execution, lead management, and reporting

- Analyze marketing performance, customer acquisition trends, campaign effectiveness, and ROI to identify optimization opportunities

- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, content development, campaign effectiveness, and reporting

- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business development, customer engagement, and organizational growth initiatives

Qualifications

- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience in B2C marketing, integrated marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, or related marketing disciplines

- Experience developing marketing strategies while remaining actively involved in execution

- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing marketing team members

- Demonstrated ability to connect marketing efforts to customer acquisition, business growth, and measurable ROI

- Strong background in content development, brand management, marketing communications, and digital marketing

- Experience owning or managing marketing budgets and marketing performance reporting

- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms, preferably HubSpot

- Experience supporting websites, email marketing, digital marketing campaigns, referral marketing programs, and thought leadership initiatives

- Experience marketing to targeted, niche, or specialized consumer audiences preferred

- Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing data and reporting to drive decision-making and optimize marketing performance

- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and project management skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing multiple priorities

- Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance marketing productivity and performance preferred

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
