## About the Role
Recruit Monitor is seeking a **Data Analyst — Marketing** to direct and optimize one or more digital marketing channels. You will define channel strategy, establish measures of success, and help drive growth by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data.
The successful candidate will turn business problems into data-driven analyses and recommendations that improve marketing strategy, budget allocation, ROI, and business decisions. You will collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and other teams while working effectively in a virtual environment.
## Key Responsibilities
- Own the performance of one or more digital marketing channels.
- Track and optimize marketing budgets and return on investment (ROI).
- Define channel strategy and determine how marketing spend should be allocated to maximize growth.
- Collect, clean, analyze, and visualize marketing data.
- Conduct ad hoc data evaluations to identify actionable insights.
- Use analytical findings to inform marketing strategy, spending decisions, and business recommendations.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and other teams to identify and use data needed for channel optimization.

## Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to take a business problem from definition through analysis and recommendations.
- Proficiency in **SQL, Python, or R** for conducting complex analyses on large datasets.
- Working knowledge of **Tableau or other business intelligence (BI) tools**.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a virtual team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to incorporate and balance diverse feedback from multiple stakeholders.
