About the Role
We are seeking experienced Test Engineers to join our nearshore delivery team in Poland on a short-term B2B engagement (6–9 months).
We are recruiting for three specialisations, and candidates may apply to one or more depending on their strengths:
- AI SDET — building intelligent, automated test frameworks and AI agents that transform the software testing lifecycle.
- Performance Tester — designing, executing, and analysing performance tests to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Functional Tester — preparing and executing comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases across manual and automation testing.
You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional QA team, contributing to high-quality software delivery for international clients.
Specialisation 1: AI SDET (AI Software Development Engineer in Test)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test frameworks specifically tailored for AI applications, including LLM-based systems and machine learning pipelines.
- Build AI Agents to support and accelerate the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) — including intelligent test generation, self-healing tests, and automated defect triage.
- Create and maintain automated regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test suites.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and rapid feedback loops.
- Collaborate with developers and data scientists to establish AI quality benchmarks and validation strategies.
Required Skills
- 8+ years in software testing with strong test automation experience.
- Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies — LLMs, prompt engineering, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- API testing and test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured).
- Understanding of AI-specific testing challenges — model validation, data drift, hallucination detection, bias testing.
Specialisation 2: Performance Tester
Key Responsibilities
- Design performance test strategies and test plans aligned with business objectives and SLAs.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts for load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
- Create realistic workload models and test scenarios based on production data and usage patterns.
- Execute performance tests across applications, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Analyse and report performance test results — identifying bottlenecks, providing root cause analysis, and recommending optimisations.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to drive performance improvements.
Required Skills
- 8+ years in software testing with significant performance testing focus.
- Expert-level experience with performance testing tools — JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Neoload.
- Strong experience in performance test result analysis and bottleneck identification.
- Solid understanding of application architectures, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Ability to translate technical findings into clear business-level recommendations.
Specialisation 3: Functional Tester
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
- Execute manual and automation test cases, ensuring comprehensive functional coverage.
- Perform Smoke Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle, working closely with development teams.
- Verify requirement traceability and test coverage — ensuring all requirements are tested and validated.
- Contribute to test documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.
Required Skills
- 8+ years in functional software testing across the full test lifecycle.
- Strong experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience with Smoke, SIT, Regression, and UAT testing phases.
- Proficiency with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar).
- Experience with test automation tools and willingness to work across manual and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of requirement traceability, test coverage analysis, and quality metrics.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Shared Requirements (All Specialisations)
- 8+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional fluency in English (written and verbal).
- ISTQB Foundation certification (or equivalent) — Advanced Level preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Any Specialisation)
- ISTQB Advanced Level or specialist certifications (CTAL-TA, CTAL-TAE, CT-PT).
- Experience with AI testing frameworks or agentic AI systems.
- Cloud platform certifications (Azure, AWS).
- Prior experience in nearshore/offshore delivery models with international clients.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and hybrid delivery approaches.
Contract & Working Model
- Contract Type: B2B (self-employed invoicing), short-term engagement of 6–9 months.
- Working Model: Fully remote — work from anywhere within Poland.
- Base Location: Poland — candidates must be registered for B2B activity in Poland.
- Collaboration: Nearshore delivery with international client teams; standard Central European Time (CET) working hours apply.
- Availability to start within 2–4 weeks of offer is preferred.
- Potential for contract extension based on project needs and individual performance.
We are awaiting for You! :)
