Join us as a Software Asset Management Consultant and play a key role in helping organizations optimize their software investments, maintain licensing compliance, and improve software asset governance. You will work with stakeholders across technology, procurement, finance, and vendor management functions to deliver effective Software Asset Management (SAM) strategies and outcomes.

This role suits an experienced professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, driving continuous improvement, and delivering measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support Software Asset Management initiatives, ensuring software assets are effectively governed, tracked, and optimized throughout their lifecycle.

- Analyse software licensing positions, entitlement data, and usage information to identify compliance risks, optimisation opportunities, and cost-saving recommendations.

- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement SAM processes, standards, and governance frameworks.

- Support software audits, vendor reviews, and compliance activities by providing accurate reporting, documentation, and remediation planning.

- Provide subject matter expertise on software licensing models, asset management best practices, and industry trends while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need:

- Expert experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, Software Licensing, Technology Consulting, or a related field.

- Experience managing software licensing, compliance, audits, and optimization activities across major software vendors.

- Hands-on experience with Software Asset Management tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow Software, or similar platforms.

- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present recommendations to diverse audiences.

- Willingness to work from our Sydney office 5 days a week.
