We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EDQ Platform Engineer to lead and support the migration of Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure Cloud. This role combines data quality engineering, platform management, and cloud migration expertise, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing data quality pipelines in Azure.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle EDQ environments.
- Manage EDQ components:
- EDQ Director
- EDQ Server
- Repository configuration
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and environment optimization.
- Lead migration of EDQ pipelines from on-prem to Azure.
- Perform assessment of existing EDQ processes, jobs, and dependencies.
- Migration planning and execution (lift-and-shift + refactoring).
- Re-platform EDQ workloads to Azure infrastructure:
- Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure Kubernetes (if containerized)
- Build and maintain EDQ processes:
- Data profiling
- Standardization and cleansing
- Matching and deduplication
- Optimize pipelines for performance and scalability in Azure.
- Develop reusable components and reference data frameworks.
- Support on Azure Cloud Engineering:
- Design and implement EDQ architecture on Azure:
- Compute (VMs, containers)
- Storage (Azure Blob / Data Lake)
- Networking and security
- Configure secure connectivity:
- Hybrid networking (VPN / ExpressRoute)
- Integrate EDQ with Azure services:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Integrate EDQ with enterprise data platforms and tools.
- Manage upstream/downstream integrations:
- Databases
- APIs
- File-based systems
- Support data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Database & Data Skills:
- Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts
- ETL tools (ODI optional, ADF preferred)
Performance Tuning & Monitoring
- Optimize EDQ job performance:
- Memory allocation
- Parallel processing
- Monitor platform health using:
- Azure Monitor
- Log Analytics
- Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution.
Security & Governance
- Implement security best practices:
- Data encryption (at rest and in transit)
- Access control (RBAC in Azure)
- Manage secrets via:
- Azure Key Vault
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance standards.
DevOps & Automation
- Build CI/CD pipelines for EDQ artifacts and deployments.
- Automate:
- Environment provisioning
- Code migration
- Releases
- Use:
- Git (version control)
- Azure DevOps / Jenkins
- Develop automation scripts:
- Shell
- Python

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ).
- Experience with:
- Data quality frameworks
- Data profiling, cleansing, matching
- Proven experience in migrating EDQ or similar data platforms from on-prem to cloud
- Strong understanding of data pipeline refactoring for cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of networking:
- VNETs

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.86/hour - $62.29/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
