Our challenge

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Architect to lead testing strategy across home loans, mortgage servicing, default management, collections, and auto finance platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring our applications, integrations, and data are reliable, secure, compliant, and ready to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $105k - $108k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

- Define and lead risk-based QA and quality engineering strategies.

- Provide end-to-end testing expertise across lending, servicing, default, collections, and auto finance processes.

- Drive functional, integration, API, data, regression, and system testing.

- Validate business rules, data flows, interfaces, reconciliations, and downstream impacts.

- Identify quality risks, coverage gaps, and opportunities for automation.

- Partner with product, engineering, architecture, operations, compliance, and vendor teams.

- Establish quality standards, test metrics, release-readiness criteria, and continuous improvement practices.

- Mentor QA teams and influence quality across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

- High level strong experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering.

- Experience as a QA Architect, Test Architect, or senior quality leader.

- Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing, collections, default management, consumer lending, or auto finance.

- Expertise in risk-based test design, integration testing, data validation, and end-to-end process coverage.

- Experience with APIs, databases, batch processing, distributed systems, and test automation.

- Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, and SQL is a plus.
