JOB DESCRIPTION
The AI Engineer helps design, build, and deploy the company’s AI and automation capability. This is a hands-on role for someone who can help automate/streamline operational functions through AI. Working directly with leadership and department owners, the AI Engineer turns real office and field operational workflows into streamlined and/or automated processes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build internal AI tooling and automation, including LLM-powered applications, agents, and workflow automations that streamline day-to-day operations across departments.

Develop internal quality control processes for billing and other workflows.

Partner with department leaders to scope needs, prototype quickly, and deliver production-ready tools.

Assist connecting technology and workstreams with AI tools

Ensure solutions are secure, well-documented, and maintainable, with appropriate attention to data privacy and access controls.

Support the broader technology roadmap as the company grows through new markets and acquisitions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

2-4 years of professional engineering experience, including significant hands-on work building and shipping AI, machine learning, or automation solutions.

Demonstrated ability to independently own projects end to end and set technical direction with minimal oversight.

Strong programming skills (e.g., Python) and experience building and integrating APIs.

Practical experience with LLMs and modern AI tools

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate between business needs and technical solutions.
