Job Description:
The Senior HR Operations Analyst will help manage and enhance key HR processes while serving as a technical resource for HR data, reporting, workforce systems, and analytics. This role works closely with HR and business partners to improve efficiency, maintain accurate employee data, support compliance requirements, and ensure HR systems align with business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, timekeeping, benefits, and offboarding.
- Work with HR and business partners to identify process issues, streamline workflows, and address potential compliance concerns.
- Maintain and update HRIS and workforce management systems to ensure employee and organizational information is accurate and aligned with approved processes.
- Build, test, maintain, and troubleshoot recurring and custom HR reports and dashboards.
- Provide HR data and reporting support for HR operations, payroll, Total Rewards, and leadership teams.
- Assist with compliance and audit reporting, including EEO, ACA, payroll, and timekeeping-related data.
- Support benefits administration activities such as enrollment, eligibility changes, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
- Perform benefits data analysis, audits, reconciliations, and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Review and validate data shared with benefits carriers and other external partners.
- Help maintain accurate documentation surrounding HR processes, reporting, audits, and system procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 5–7 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, workforce management, or another data-focused HR position.
- Hands-on experience working with HR data, reporting, audits, and workforce metrics.
- Experience with UKG Pro and/or UKG Workforce Management strongly preferred.
- Experience using Cognos Analytics and Power BI for HR reporting and data analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate large or complex datasets.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data integrity, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR, payroll, benefits, and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
