Latinum is looking for an experienced Head of Recruitment for their client to lead and scale talent acquisition for a pharmaceutical organization. The role will be responsible for developing recruitment strategy, managing end-to-end hiring, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering with business leaders to meet current and future workforce requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment strategy across corporate, commercial, technical, manufacturing, R&D, quality, regulatory, and other pharmaceutical functions.
- Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to understand workforce plans and hiring priorities.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and leadership positions.
- Manage recruitment across multiple levels, from mid-level professionals to senior leadership.
- Drive direct sourcing, referrals, job portals, LinkedIn, agencies, and other talent channels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and external talent partners.
- Improve recruitment processes, turnaround time, candidate experience, and hiring quality.
- Track and report recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, pipeline health, offer-to-join ratio, and hiring costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team.
- Support employer branding and initiatives to strengthen the organization's talent attraction strategy.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with applicable company policies and employment regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement through recruitment analytics, technology, automation, and market intelligence.
Requirements:
- 8–15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, preferably within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or related industry.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment at scale.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/life sciences talent markets and relevant hiring functions.
- Experience hiring across multiple levels, including senior and leadership positions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work with senior leadership.
- Experience managing recruitment teams and external recruitment partners.
- Strong sourcing, market mapping, pipeline development, and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven approach with experience tracking and improving recruitment KPIs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing, R&D, commercial, or life sciences environment.
- Exposure to specialized and niche talent hiring.
- Experience with ATS, recruitment analytics, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other modern talent acquisition tools.
- Experience building or scaling recruitment functions and processes.
