Job Overview
We are looking for a GCP Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, and GitLab CI/CD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP using Infrastructure as Code and supporting automated deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
- Work with core GCP services including:
- Cloud Run / Cloud Spanner / Pub/Sub / VPC / IAM / Secret Manager
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/GitLab CI.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
- Implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure following GCP best practices.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and CI/CD issues.
- Develop Python scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and other engineering teams.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP / Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with GitLab / GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience working with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Spanner, Pub/Sub, VPC, IAM, and Secret Manager.
Secondary Skill
- Python scripting for automation and cloud operations.
