Cloud Infrastructure Engineer | Hedge Fund | up to $250,000
I'm working with a leading global investment firm that is building out a best-in-class cloud platform.
This isn't a role for someone who just wants to spend their days configuring AWS.
You'll work closely with traders and development teams, understanding how the business operates and translating their requirements into infrastructure that works in a high-pressure, production environment.
That means when something breaks, you're not just thinking about the technical fix. You're thinking about what it means for the business, what the trader needs, and how to get things moving again.
You'll have ownership across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and Linux, while being involved in the wider engineering problems behind the platform.
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience across AWS and core cloud infrastructure
- Production Kubernetes / EKS experience
- Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation
- Strong Linux knowledge
- Experience supporting production systems under pressure
- A track record of taking infrastructure projects from conception through to production
- The ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders
- A commercial mindset and the ability to understand the business logic behind technical requirements
If you're a strong Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer who wants to move beyond simply managing AWS and get closer to the people, decisions and business logic that your infrastructure supports, I'd be interested in speaking.
