We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a long-term international project within the automotive sector, working on a core platform that plays a key role in managing vehicle configurations and product information.
You will join an experienced engineering team working with modern technologies, microservices and cloud-native practices. While the role has a strong backend focus, you will also contribute to frontend developments, making it an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy working across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
- Contribute to a microservices-based architecture supporting critical business processes.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with other systems.
- Work with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hubs and IBM MQ.
- Collaborate in the deployment and operation of applications running on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to frontend developments and enhancements using Angular.
- Work closely with product owners, architects and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Backend Developer or Full Stack Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
- Professional experience with Angular.
- Experience developing REST APIs and working with microservices-based architectures.
- Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging/event-driven technologies.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Professional level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with Azure Event Hubs, IBM MQ or similar integration technologies.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
- Experience working in international teams.
Technical Assessment
- The process includes a 30-minute live coding exercise.
- AI tools are not allowed, but documentation can be consulted.
- The exercise will be provided through a GitHub repository with a simple README.
Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: 40h/week. Flexible, with reduced hours on Fridays
