About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience managing MEP construction and building services projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level construction professional who can take ownership of project delivery while working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, combined with solid project management and client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage MEP-related projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and change orders.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and schedule.
- Lead project meetings and coordinate actions between project stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve design, coordination, constructability, and scheduling issues.
- Assist with contractor procurement, bid reviews, contract administration, and payment applications.
- Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to clients.
- Support project closeout, commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
MEP Experience
Candidates should have experience with MEP systems within commercial construction, including exposure to:
- Mechanical / HVAC systems
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing and domestic water systems
- Fire protection
- Building automation / controls
- Low-voltage systems
- MEP coordination and construction sequencing
Experience working with MEP contractors, engineers, consultants, and general contractors is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- 4–8 years of relevant construction or project management experience.
- Experience managing or coordinating MEP construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar platforms preferred.
- Ability to attend project meetings and active construction sites.
